About Tanager

With over two decades of experience in the transportation industry, founder Jaime Melendez launched Tanager Transportation to serve the communities he calls home. A lifelong resident of Southern California, Jaime's story is one of dedication and achievement. He pursued higher education with vigor, earning multiple degrees, including a Master's from California Polytechnic University.

Today, that same drive is the force behind Tanager. Grounded in years of hands-on expertise, Jaime's vision is to provide Southern California's schools and families with transportation that is, above all, safe, reliable, and affordable.
